I am sure many of us do (did) use a weblog to share daily happenings and thoughts with friends. But how many of us have used a weblog to facilitate our learning? Actually this weblog is a brand-new learning experience to me. Here, we share our findings related to the course. More importantly, we extend our discussion time beyond the one-hour tutorial session. We can have more time to have a deeper discussion on the topics of the course. So far I see a lot of good points here that were not put forward in the tutorial sessions (perhaps because of the time limit). I believe this weblog successfully enhance the learning atmosphere outside the classroom.
Technology can help us do a lot of things. And we all rely on it nowadays. I agree with what Sue says in her evaluation post (I did read some of my classmates' posts!), we are all cyborg now! The word 'we' does not only refer to our class, but also most of the Hong Kong people. Technology has become a crucial part of our lives. We cannot live without our computers, cell phones (esp. iPhone and other smartphones), facebook, twitter, msn, and even their iPod and mp3 players. But do these things as necessary as food and water to us? My answer is definitely NO! Actually I have a stupid (to many people) but important (I think XD) idea, i.e. to get rid of all kinds of social websites and chatting softwares for at least a month. Actually a university student had done this before. I want to see if I can do the same.
It's time to go back to my essay-writing. I hope all of us will have no problem in finishing the essay. Wish you all the best in the future and do well in the coming examination. See you!
